Can this get my account banned?

KomboKlipper never reads, attaches to or changes the game. It only reads the video Steam has already recorded to your disk.

Do I need a good PC?

An NVIDIA GPU is required. Detection runs small and slow on the GPU so the game always comes first.

What happens if I cancel Pro?

You keep Pro until your paid month ends. After that you're on Free, and every clip and reel you made stays yours.

Does my video get uploaded anywhere?

No. Matches, round clips, reels and fight details stay on your PC. If you sign in for Pro, the licensing service stores only a small account record so the app knows which plan you have.

Is Free really free?

Yes. Saving every match and round, the library, the player and the reel editor are free, and match and round clips are never watermarked. Free reels render at 720p with a small KomboKlipper watermark. Pro removes the watermark and adds HD, vertical and 4K renders, fight details and auto highlights.

Can I use it to clip my favourite creators?

Yes. Paste a link from a video website and KomboKlipper downloads that video, one at a time. Then trim, split and reorder the moments in the reel editor, add captions and music, and render a 16:9 video for YouTube, a 1080×1920 vertical one for Shorts and TikTok, or a Discord-size one. You upload the result yourself; KomboKlipper does not post for you.

Following a channel and downloading its new uploads for you is coming next. It is not in the app yet. Automatic highlight finding works on TEKKEN 8 footage today, so on other videos you pick the moments.

Am I allowed to clip and re-upload someone else's video?

That depends on the creator. Many creators run clipping programmes and invite people to clip and re-upload their videos; others do not allow it. Clip channels whose creators allow it, and make sure you have the rights to anything you post. That is your responsibility.

KomboKlipper is not affiliated with any video platform or creator, and it only downloads the videos you point it at.

What do I need to run it?

Windows 10 (22H2 or later) or Windows 11, 64-bit. An NVIDIA GPU. Steam with background recording turned on. A supported game on Steam: TEKKEN 8 today.

Which games does it support?

TEKKEN 8 on PC through Steam today. It finds matches and rounds from the on-screen round banners, so it is built for fighting games first.

More games come as clipping profiles. Each profile is trained on that game's own footage to find its UI, then its match data, so the same library, round clips and reels work the same way. Any game that shows a readable result on screen is a candidate.

How many PCs can I use Pro on?

Two at the same time. You can remove a PC yourself from inside the app, and a licence keeps working offline for 7 days.

How do I pay?

Pro is a Patreon membership. Patreon handles payment, VAT and cancellation; you sign in with Patreon from inside the app, so KomboKlipper never holds your card details.
